1. Registration to the tournament and models submission

The tournament is open to everybody. Each participant can be the first author of only one submission to each of the three competitions, and can be co-author of up to two additional submissions to each of the competitions.

To register you should simply send us an Email (before August 15, 2008) to dmcompete@gmail.com in which you state that you plan to participate. Please list all your co-authors and cc them. We will reply by sending you your file names. We will send a different filename for each competition.

To submit you should simply Email us your submission to dmcompete@gmail.com with your file name no later than September 1, 2008. The submission should be a computer program (which can be written in Visual Basic, SAS, or MATLAB only) that reads the parameters of the problems and derive predictions of choice behavior.

To reduce the risk of typos we suggest that each submission will be sent in a different Email. In addition to the program, the Email should include the name of the competition, the name of your co-authors, and the MSD score of the submitted model on the estimation set. We will use the estimation MSD score to insure that we can replicate your results.

Late submissions (after midnight Sept 1^st Boston time) will not be considered. Depending on our constraints, we may consider late registrations until Aug 31.
