Herzl Hakak
A SONATA TO THE IMAGE OF ANOTHER LOVE
I have not forgotten I will not forget you, for
there was in you a pitiless constancy
of innocent pain. Nightmares not innocent.
So passionate about fears and appearances.
I have not forgotten the touch of your hand endeavoring
to be burned by memory. To escape from the live coals.
A beautiful heroine of time. And a soul of a sacrifice
torn in the nightmare in the fields in the destroyed caverns of forgiveness.
If you sought remedy in love this is the time
to let go your mourning your fear of the where and from where.
Allow the alter to burn alone, the past to smoke.
You touch and you run and so you are burned
and die. Fire and Ice. My love is your healing,
your love casts your image. To live, to be, now.
