Pnina Amit
AN EXPERT
I’m an expert
in losing
Once I exchanged an ocean for a distant mountain a mountain
for a whole desert a desert for a short love of a man
him for hope, hope for a bird close to my heart
At night in Habima Square deer are running
morning dew proves a true essence of chase
If I’ll desire the softness of water
I have nothing to exchange
